Event Overview

Speaker:

  • Lance Mutzman

Christian Brothers Automotive Franchise Owner, CBA Flower Mound

    https://www.cbac.com/flower-mound/

    • A graduate of Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, Lance explored several career

paths before discovering his passion for the automotive industry. Along the way, he learned that

fulfillment comes not from a title or degree, but from serving others, building relationships, and

      investing in people.

He entered the automotive industry in 2010 as a Service Advisor at a local dealership, where he

found purpose in helping guests and supporting his teammates. In January 2011 , Lance joined

Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) in Flower Mound as a Service Advisor, drawn to a

people-first culture that aligned with his personal values.

Promoted to Service Manager in 2013, he was selected for CBA's inaugural Future Franchise

Leadership Academy in 2015, where he deepened his leadership skills and commitment to

developing others. On January 1, 2020, Lance transitioned into franchise ownership of CBA

Flower Mound, continuing to lead with integrity, mentorship, and a heart for serving his

      community.

His journey shows that growth comes from effort, adaptability, and a genuine desire to make a

difference, proving there is no single path to entrepreneurship.

BEST Robotics Speaker Series is a virtual professional engagement program that connects students with industry leaders—including C-suite executives, founders, and technical experts—through live Zoom sessions. Speakers share candid insights into their career journeys, leadership experiences, and real-world decision-making, while students engage directly through Q&A and discussion. Designed to broaden awareness of career pathways and clarify leadership roles, the series provides practical guidance on skills development, education, and professional growth, empowering students to envision their future impact in engineering, technology, and business.
