P-TECH Implementation & Sustainment
Pathways in Technology Early College High school (P-TECH) is an open-enrollment program providing students with an opportunity to complete college-level courses while engaging in work-based learning at every grade level. We take the following steps to create a sustainable P-TECH program:
· Advisory Board meetings and Leadership Team meetings
· Board of Director Presentations
· CTE Service ID Assessment and Recommendations, including a Service ID Audit
· Access to a district dashboard for KPI tracking.
· P-TECH website and benchmarks, including benchmark tracking.
· Managing ongoing relationship with industry partners.
· Posting on Facebook and LinkedIn
· Work-Based Learning mapping and execution for each program of study.
Industry partner networking is a critical component to Career and Technical Education (CTE) with the objective to provide students the greatest access to career opportunities, industry contacts and relevant work-based learning. We take the following steps to generate relationships between industry and school districts:

Identify potential industry partners in the district region.

Onboard all interested industry partners.

Assign the industry partner to a district.

Coordinate introductions to the school district.

Execute an advisory board meeting.

Manage ongoing relationship with industry partners.

Align the industry partners to the compatible work-based learning activities.

Ensure industry partners interests and requests are addressed.

Recognize the industry partner on social media.

Networking with industry partners; including industry-based events.

Industry Partner Networking
CTE Director Full-Time Equivalent
Career & Technical Directors and Administrative Staff are essential to student career success as it leads to higher graduation rates and higher student achievement. In addition to many of the responsibilities of a traditional CTE Director we execute the following:

An assessment and recommendation that includes reviewing the existing program of study, the workforce development labor market analysis, coursework selection including dual credit status and PEIMs coding, and industry-based certifications.

An audit of the PEIMs or Service IDs for the coursework in each program of study to determine alignment with the CTE Code 7 Completer.

Leadership Team meetings with the Superintendent and all leadership team members.
Career & Technical Education is one discipline under the vast roles and responsibilities of the Superintendent. We assist in focusing on the district KPI's and generating a strategic plan to improve district performance. Services are customizable but generally include:

Creation of a Five-Year Strategic Plan to support the superintendent in communicating district objectives and action plans to the School Board

Leadership Team meetings with the Superintendent and all leadership team members.
